Tagessatz is sold in Göttingen, Germany, and here three vendors talk about songs that are significant to them.
Constance Deckers (43) on the naïve melody of Rolf Zuckowski’s ‘In der Weihnachtsbäckerei’ [‘In the Christmas bakery’]: “Mainly children love this song, but I like it too. When my own children were small, I used to sing it with them. It’s a loving memory.”
Detlef ‘Rocky’ Bernhadt (60) on ‘Mary’s Boy Child’ performed by Boney M, a group famous worldwide for their song ‘Rasputin’: “I feel like this is a Christmas song that not many people hear over and over again, but it really gets me into the mood for the Christmas season.”
