Cookies
To make this site work properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most big websites do this too.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.
How do we use cookies?
We use cookies to track and understand site usage and to improve the content we show you. This is done through Google Analytics, which allows us to see non-identifying information about our site’s visitors such as the number of pages viewed and the length of time spent on our site. More information on Google Analytics and the cookies it uses can be found here.
We also use cookies to enable you to comment and interact on our posts, and to allow our members to access resources we provide to them. If you have created an account with us, e.g. to comment on one of our posts or to access INSP resources, cookies will be used for sign-up management and administration. Cookies are also used to remember you when you are logged in to our site. These cookies will usually be cleared when you log out of your account but may remain to remember your preferences on the site.
We embed social media content within our site to enhance your experience and to allow you to interact with us and our members on external social media networks. To enable us to do this, our site uses third-party cookies that allow you to connect with your social media accounts (such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube) in various ways. Each social network will set cookies through our site which may be used to enhance your profile on their site or contribute to the data they hold for various purposes outlined in their respective privacy policies.
How to control cookies
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
